YMCA Basketball classes, clinics, and leagues are age-appropriate and emphasize skill development and good sportsmanship in an encouraging environment.
Whether you are new to the game of basketball or looking to improve your skillset, our youth basketball clinics will help get you to the next level. We incorporate games and drills that are meant to be fun and exciting all while honing in the fundamentals of the sport.
Our goal is for each participant to end each session with a greater understanding of the game while improving their skillset and having fun!
Basketball Campaign Clinic: February 2025, 11-14 yr old's
February 14th Basketball Campaign Clinic.
There are 2 options, for 8-11 yr old’s or for 11-14 yr old’s.
Clinic details are Feb. 14th: 11:30am-1pm for 8-11 yr old’s or 1:15pm-2:45pm for 11-14 yr old’s.
The clinic will help players with game like sceneries, fun drills and instructional tips to equip players for Basketball.
Participants will also have a chance to win prizes.
All proceeds from this clinic will go directly to the Fullerton Family YMCA Campaign efforts, which provide financial assistants to participants and families in need.

Fundamentals (Ages 3-5)
At the Y, the Pre-K Basketball League participants will learn the sport and will play against each other on teams.
Players are required to wear closed toe shoes. The YMCA provides all equipment necessary and a team T-shirt, which is included in the cost of the program.
Leagues will consist of 3 weeks of practice and 3 weeks of games. Children will learn the fundamentals of the sport (e.g., ball handling, shooting, passing, defense) and engage in a fun and supportive environment that emphasizes character development, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.
This program will operate on Mondays between: 4:30 pm – 5:15pm:
Session 1: January 5 – February 9
This program will end registration @ deadline or at 16 registrations, whichever comes first..

Basketball class focuses on the development of fundamental basketball skills. Participants will learn the basic building blocks for success in basketball, such as footwork, dribbling, shooting, and passing.
Four sessions monthly (Every Tuesday at 4:00 pm – 4:45 pm)
Basketball Class is held outdoors.
