YMCA Basketball classes, clinics, and leagues are age-appropriate and emphasize skill development and good sportsmanship in an encouraging environment.
Whether you are new to the game of basketball or looking to improve your skillset, our youth basketball clinics will help get you to the next level. We incorporate games and drills that are meant to be fun and exciting all while honing in the fundamentals of the sport.
Our goal is for each participant to end each session with a greater understanding of the game while improving their skillset and having fun!
Basketball Clinic: Sept. 9th & 11th
Basketball Clinic: there are 4 options, for: 9U, 11U, 13U and 15U.
Clinic details are Sept. 9th and Sept. 11th.
9U will practice 5pm-6pm both days
11U will practice 6pm-7pm both days
13U will practice 7pm-8pm both days
15U will practice 8pm-9pm both days
In appropriate age groups, the practice/class will help players with motor skills and coachability.
Coach Jason will cover basic rules and applications for overall game play application. In addition, each class will incorporate strength and conditioning.

Fundamentals (Ages 3-5)
At the Y, the Pre-K Basketball League participants will learn the sport and will play against each other on teams.
Players are required to wear closed toe shoes. The YMCA provides all equipment necessary and a team T-shirt, which is included in the cost of the program.
Leagues will consist of 3 weeks of practice and 3 weeks of games. Children will learn the fundamentals of the sport (e.g., ball handling, shooting, passing, defense) and engage in a fun and supportive environment that emphasizes character development, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.
This program will operate on Mondays between: 4:30 pm – 5:15pm:
Session 5: Sept. 15th – Oct. 19th
Session 6: November 2 – December 14
This program will end registration @ deadline or at 16 registrations, whichever comes first..

Four sessions monthly (Every Tuesday at 4:00 pm – 4:45 pm)
Basketball Class is held outdoors.
