Let’s Play Soccer! The Y offers kids of all skill levels and ages the opportunity to play soccer!
Did you know playing soccer provides many health benefits, including:
- Improved cardiovascular health for the entire body
- Increased strength
- Enhanced endurance to play at a higher level for longer stretches of time
- Better hand-eye (and foot-eye!) coordination
No matter how it’s played, one of soccer’s most important benefits is social interaction. As a team sport, soccer provides youth a chance to learn how to interact with compassion and sportsmanship in a healthy environment.
