Enrichment & Activities

Roll the dice with a new club in Kidzone where a different board or card game will be taught and played each week.  This is a light and spirited club that will help your child develop strategy, encourage collaboration with peers, and promote good sportsmanship.

Boardroom Club will run as a nine week session and is open to children age 4 and up(must be potty trained).  Register at the front desk or online at ymcaoc.org/hb to secure your child’s spot.  Space is limited.

Explore new flavors with Cooking Club in Kidzone!  Each week will focus on a different recipe that kids will prep, cook, and taste!  Each participant will take home an apron and recipe book filled with their creations at the end of the session.

Cooking Club will meet every Tuesday 5:15-6:15pm in Kidzone for 8 weeks.

Open to children age 4yr and older(must be fully potty trained).

Date Night offers parents some needed time to themselves while kids have a party of their own in the YMCA KidZone.

Date Nights are provided monthly and include a different theme each month.

Date Night includes Dinner, snacks, activities, crafts, and a movie.

Hours: 5 pm -8:30 pm

Children must be 3+ years old and must be fully potty trained. We cannot assist in the bathroom. 

Please bring a sweater, and a water bottle for your children so we can refill it at our facility. 

All children must be picked up by 8:30 PM

Failure to pick up on time will affect future eligibility in the program.

No shows/Cancellations will be issued account credit only.

Join us for Date Night!

Join us for themed activities and fun!

Bring the kids to the Y while you get some time to yourself!  At Date Night we play games, do crafts, and watch a movie! We also provide pizza dinner and snacks!

Starts in November 2025

For kids ages 7-12. Join us for a year-round LEGO adventure designed especially for older kids! In this hands-on club, students will start with the basics of LEGO engineering and design, then build on their skills with more advanced group projects. As the year progresses, the club will move into exciting challenges with LEGO robotics, encouraging teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity along the way.

Classes meet in the Kid Zone, offering a fun and inspiring setting for imagination and innovation to grow.

Come have fun, make new friends, and unlock your creativity, collaboration and communication skills with LEGO!

LEGO’s interactive nature encourages experimentation and logical thinking, enabling your children to explore different solutions and develop their STEM skills.  This LEGO Stem class will be a fun way for your child to learn through hands on designing and building activities.

🌼 Maple Spring Break Cooking Club Camp

Get ready for a fun and flavorful Spring Break at Maple! Our Cooking Club Camp is the perfect blend of creativity, learning, and adventure. Campers will enjoy hands-on cooking experiences, exciting enrichment activities, and plenty of time for both indoor and outdoor play.

Throughout the week, children will explore the basics of cooking through live demonstrations and hands-on food preparation, while also participating in games, crafts, and group activities that keep the day fun and engaging.

Our program runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, providing a full day of structured activities, social time with friends, and opportunities to build new skills.
