T-Ball League

At the YMCA, everyone gets a chance to learn and play! This program will introduce T-ball to young children, allowing them to learn the basic skills of baseball in a positive and fun atmosphere with experienced and encouraging coaches. Children will learn the fundamentals of the sport (e.g., ball handling, throwing, retrieving, hitting) and engage in a fun and supportive environment that emphasizes character development, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.
YMCA T-Ball leagues are taught by parent volunteer coaches and by a Y employee. Parent participation is encouraged and sometimes required. Participants will learn the sport and will play against each other on teams.
Players are required to wear closed-toe shoes. The YMCA provides all equipment necessary and a team T-shirt, which is included in the cost of the program.
Ages 3-5

Leagues will consist of 3 weeks of practice and 3 weeks of games. Children will learn the fundamentals of the sport (e.g., catching, throwing, batting, fielding) and engage in a fun and supportive environment that emphasizes character development, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.
This program will operate on Mondays from 4:30 pm – 5:15 pm.
