Safe Sitter Classes

Safe Sitter Essentials | 5.5 hours | Grades 6 and UP

Students learn how to prevent injuries and handle emergencies when home alone, watching your younger siblings, or babysitting. They are taught infant and child choking rescue. They also learn how a child’s age affects the care they receive, how to prevent problem behavior, how to run their own babysitting business, and stay safe online.

Cancellation Policy: There is a 48-hour cancellation policy for all Safe Sitter classes. If you do not show up to the class without a notice of cancellation there will be no refund. To request a cancellation, please visit the front desk or email [email protected]

For students who are 12 years old or older, there is an option to pay $150 to enroll in the Safe Sitter Essential Course and secure a spot in an American Red Cross CPR course at a later date.
