Our specialty camps allow campers to focus on one area of interest. Specialty camps may include arts & crafts, sports, cooking, dance, and much more.
Please note if paying the member rate: Your Family membership must be retained in full for the duration of the camp your child is enrolled in.
Explorers Camp
Adventure Awaits!
Join us for a summer of adventure, creativity and fun! Our day camp offers exciting hands-on activities, nature walks, and outdoor play to keep kids engaged and active. Campers will make new friends, discover the wonders of nature, and enjoy a summer full of unforgettable experiences!
Hours: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Children must be 4+ years old and must be fully potty trained. All children must be picked up by 12:00pm.
Failure to pick up on time will affect future eligibility in the program.

Extend your morning or afternoon camp session with Lunch Bunch! Supervision and activities will be provided.
Please note we do not provide lunches for participants.

Multi-Sports Camp
YMCA camps are age-appropriate and emphasize skill development and good sportsmanship in an encouraging environment.
Multi-sport Camp is multiple days of fun activities in a variety of events to enhance the participants’ overall athleticism. The goal of the camp is to offer participants the opportunity to play a wide variety of sports and games, from traditional sports/games to new sports/games.
Camp will be applicable to participants between the ages of: 4-10 years old.
Space is limited, registration will close due to camp head count or registration deadline, whichever comes first

Swim and Sport Camp
Swim and Sport Camp!
Join us for a summer full of fun at the Newport-Mesa Family YMCA! Kids will stay active and engaged with a variety of sports, daily swim lessons, and free play. Campers will build confidence, teamwork, and lasting memories in a supportive and energetic environment!
