YMCA – Adventure Camp is available for children ages 4-10 to come and discover new talents and give them an opportunity to interact with others in a fun setting! Our qualified instructors will provide students with hands-on and engaging lessons in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Science. Camp runs daily from 9:00am-12:00pm and has different activities daily, centered around a weekly theme including sports & play, arts & crafts.

Participating in art activities helps children gain the necessary tools for understanding human experience, adapting to and respecting others’ ways of working and thinking, developing creative problem-solving skills, and communicating thoughts and ideas in a variety of ways. In this week long camp children will get to create different art projects focusing on a variety of mediums and artists as well as crafts. Outdoor games will be incorporated daily in to camp.

Kids will discover a world of creativity through an array of painting
techniques and arts and crafts, inspiring their imagination and artistic expression.

AGES: 6-12 Years | June 17-21, 9 am – 12 pm

Children will learn how to measure, mix and create dishes that they will get to sample and take home! Each day will feature 2-3 recipes the children will create, a craft and outdoor active play time. All children will get a cook book of their creations at the end of camp.

DRONES FOR KIDS Summer Camp: Unleash Your Child’s Creativity with Drones!

Drones are not just a toy; they’re a gateway to a world of skills encompassing design, fabrication, programming, and engineering. At our DRONES FOR KIDS Summer Camp, students will embark on an exhilarating journey to explore the wonders of drones, regardless of their prior experience level.

Join us at DRONES FOR KIDS Summer Camp and watch your child soar to new heights in creativity, innovation, and skill! Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to experience the thrill of drone technology firsthand.

Camp Options:

– Beginner Level (Weeks 1, 2, and 3): Open to ages 6 and above, no prior experience required. Learn the basics of flying drones, including dynamic moves, basic autonomous programming, and exciting activities like relay races and obstacle courses.

– Intermediate Level (Weeks 2 & 3):
Prerequisites. Learn to Fly Class OR Previous Drone Experience

Dive deeper into the world of drones with FPV Drone Racing. Experience the thrill of First Person View (FPV) flying using VR goggles, practice on computer simulators, and participate in adrenaline-pumping races through obstacle courses.

– Advanced Level (Week 3 ONLY): For those who have completed Weeks 1 and 2 or have previous drone experience. Build your very own FPV drone from scratch and take it home! Learn mechanical assembly, soldering, software calibration, and advanced programming.

*Material Fees (Student keep equipment after the class):
$200 FPV Drone only (with motors, flight board, ESC, camera, RX, VTX)
$400 Complete Package (Drone, controller, goggles, battery, charger)

Special Offer: Super Pilot Deal

Enroll in all 3 classes, waive the “drone only” material fee for the Build a FPV drone class ($200 value). You do not need to purchase all three classes upfront, you can enroll one by one as long as you end up enrolling in all three classes. Drone will be provided upon completion of the Build a FPV drone class. Upgrade to complete package for another $200 (to get the remaining setup including controller, goggles, battery, charger)

Note: Age requirements are 6 years old and above for all classes. No prior drone or programming experience required for Beginner and Intermediate levels.  A minimum of 12 students needed to hold the camp. Please note that if we do not meet this minimum, class is at risk of being cancelled.

YMCA camps are age-appropriate and emphasize skill development and good sportsmanship in an encouraging environment.

Multi-sport Camp is 3 days of fun  activities in a variety of events to enhance the participants’ overall athleticism. The goal of the camp is to offer participants the opportunity to play a wide variety of sports and games, from traditional sports/games to new sports/games.

Camp will be applicable to participants between the ages of: 4-10 years old. Camp is 9am-12pm, Monday – Wednesday.

Join us for a summer full of fun at the Huntington Beach Family YMCA!

Your children will enjoy various activities such as arts and crafts, music and movement, STEM activities, and more!

Ages 4-10.

Can’t attend the whole week, come see us for a day with our Drop-in Rate. Hours are 9-2pm. Please pack a lunch for your child and bring a water bottle.

An engaging summer experience for kids, where they dive into the
exciting world of STEM through hands-on exploration of simple projects, fostering critical
thinking and scientific inquiry.

Extend your morning or afternoon camp session with Lunch Bunch! Supervision and activities will be provided.

Please note we do not provide lunches for participants.

Lunch Bunch is offered weekly after morning camps. Children will stay after morning camp and have their lunch (lunch is not included and needs to be provided with the child) and then enjoy an extended 2 hours of activities. Lunch bunch runs from 12:00-2:00pm.

YMCA Sports Camps are age-appropriate and emphasize skill development with good sportsmanship in an encouraging environment.

This Summer Sports Camp is built around the sport of Soccer, Basketball, Pickleball, Baseball and will be applicable to participants between the ages of: 5-11 years of age. Camp is 9am-12pm, Monday – Friday.

Friday we will close the week at the pool!

Sports Staff will guide participants through drills and conditioning, to better their: footwork, ball handling, shot and game

• Participants need bring water and a snack daily. *Snack must be nut free
• Participants must bring shin guards and cleats or running shoes.

This unique camp offers an exciting summer experience,
introducing kids to the fundamentals of engineering, robotics, and coding in a fun and
interactive environment.

AGES: 6-12 Years | August 5-9 , 1 – 4 pm

This camp is geared specifically towards our younger campers that are new to camp! Daily activities will include arts and crafts, story time, outdoor games and play, snack time and water play. This camp has a lower ratio of staff to children to allow for more one-on-one time and is geared for children ages 3-5.

There will be no Camp Thursday- July 4th do to the holiday.

RMV TWEEN & TEEN SUMMER RANCH CAMP

June 17 – 21, 9:00AM to 1:00PM

Ages 11 – 15 years can register for a week-long journey on The Ranch, exploring the great outdoors, learning about sustainability, the historic cowboy way of life, and socially connecting with others in a supportive, accepting, and inclusive camp. Each differently-themed day will start and end at The Campout before boarding a luxury charter bus to a new field trip daily.

– June 17: Tree of Life Nursery – Learn about biodiversity and the importance of native landscaping, build a pollinator habitat, and play water games.
– June 18: The Nature Reserve – Campers will blaze the trails, meet wildlife, and have adventures outdoors. Team games and challenges await!
– June 19: RMV Farms – Campers can harvest fresh fruits and vegetables, meet the chickens, learn about worm composting, and get their hands in the dirt.
– June 20: Historic Cow Camp Pull up yer boots and learn the cowboy way of life on a real working cattle ranch. Give a horse a bath, meet cows, have a relay race, and more!
– June 21: North Plunge & Sports Park – It’s time to celebrate the end of the week and rock those summer vibes with a pool party, sports games, and pizza!

Science Camp promotes a healthy interest in science by giving your children a chance to do fun and interactive experiments as well as incorporates STEM activities throughout the week. This camp is the perfect way to keep your children learning over the Summer while having a blast with friends!

YMCA Soccer camps are age-appropriate and emphasize skill development and good sportsmanship in an encouraging environment.

This Summer Soccer Camp is built around the sport of Soccer and will be applicable to participants between the ages of: 5-11 years of age. Camp is 9am-12pm, Monday – Friday.

Camp will be applicable to participants between the ages of: 6-12 years old. Camp is 9am-12pm, Monday – Friday.

Flag Football Camp is 5 days of fun  activities in a variety of events to enhance the participants’ overall athleticism. The goal of the camp is to offer participants the opportunity to develop their skills through fun football games and drills.

Camp will be applicable to participants between the ages of: 6-12 years old. Camp is 9am-12pm, Monday – Friday.

Half Day camps are perfect for those children for youth ages 4-8 who are new to camp or want to meet new friends! Camp runs daily from 9:00am-12:00pm and has different activities daily around a weekly theme including sports and play, arts and crafts, and different water play activities to end each day! Camp is held indoors and outdoors with a variety of activities to keep your children busy all morning!

Emails with activities are sent weekly the Friday prior to camp to help prepare your child for their week!

Lunch Bunch is offered weekly for an additional fee with extended activities from 12-2pm.

Summer Swim Camp – Come join the fun in the sun this summer. Summer swim camp will include an hour swim lesson every day along with fun activities and water safety aspects.

Ages 6 – 14

• Parents must sign their child in and out of class each time
• Participants should bring water and a snack daily
• Participants should come dressed in their swimsuit, with sunscreen on, a towel and closed-toe shoes
• All personal items should be labeled with child’s name

YMCA camps are age-appropriate and emphasize skill development and good sportsmanship in an encouraging environment.

Volleyball Camp is 5 days of fun  activities in a variety of events to enhance the participants’ overall athleticism. The goal of the camp is to offer participants the opportunity to develop their serving, bumping, passing, hitting, and setting through fun volleyball games and drills.

Camp will be applicable to participants between the ages of: 6-12 years old. Camp is 1pm-4pm, Monday – Friday.

Basketball Clinic is 2 days of fun  activities in a variety of events to enhance the participants’ overall athleticism. The goal of the clinic is to offer participants the opportunity to develop their ball handling, dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense through fun basketball games and drills.

Clinic will be applicable to participants between the ages of: 6-12 years old. Clinic is 2pm-5pm, Thursday- Friday.

YMCA clinics are age-appropriate and emphasize skill development and good sportsmanship in an encouraging environment.

Volleyball Clinic is 2 days of fun  activities in a variety of events to enhance the participants’ overall athleticism. The goal of the clinic is to offer participants the opportunity to develop their passing, serving, hitting, bumping, and setting through fun volleyball games and drills.

Clinic will be applicable to participants between the ages of: 6-12 years old. Clinic is 2pm-5pm, Thursday- Friday.
